The NEW Scentsy Standards




We know the last thing you want to do is spend your precious time slogging through 50 pages of legalese.Yawn! So we've rewritten, revamped, and dramatically reduced our Independent Consultant Agreement to not only roll out a few changes, but to also make it more streamlined and FUN. You know we're all about simplicity around here!

We've also given the Agreement a fresh, new name: Scentsy Standards. (Policies and Procedures is sooo2013.)

Breeze through the new Scentsy Standards (click the links here for U.S. Consultants and for Canada Consultants) on the Resources tab of your Workstation now before it all goes into effect Sept. 1, 2014. (The U.S. Spanish and Canada French versions, as well as new Velata Standards, will be coming soon!)

To make it all even easier, we've created a new searchable document on the Support tab of your Workstation, complete with FAQs to get down to the basics of how the new Scentsy Standards work in your day-to-day business operations.

Four Steps to a Successful Party
1.    Invite  Invite  Invite!!
The more guests you invite the more Host Rewards you will receive! Target inviting about 30-40 people, keeping in mind about one-third of the people you invite will be able to attend your party.

2.    Share Your Excitement
Remember excitement is contagious.  If you are excited about your party, then your guests will be excited too! Encourage them to come and emphasize how much fun you will have, and tell them they are certainly not obligated to buy anything!  (Scentsy products sell themselves!)  

3.    Share the Catalog!
Collecting orders prior to the date of your party helps those who cannot attend still place orders and gets your party started! Gather $150 in orders with completed forms and payments before your party and get an extra free gift from me!

4.    Encourage Family and Friends to Host a Party
of Their Own!

For every guest that schedules a party with me during your party, you will have the opportunity to purchase an extra half priced item at their party – so encourage people to book their own party!

Q: What types of payments do you accept?
A: Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), checks (made out to ____________), or cash.

Q: What is the tax rate?
A: For orders being shipped to the consultant, add ____%. To figure this, multiply the order total times .____.

Q: Do my guests have to pay for shipping?
A: All orders being shipped to the consultant will receive free shipping. If you have an order being shipped directly to a guest, there is a flat $8 rate for orders up to $80.  For orders over $80, shipping cost will be 10% of the order total.

Q: How do I calculate my rewards?
A: Host Rewards are based on total party sales, including pre-sales, post-party sales, and internet sales. Your rewards will be as follows:

Q:  Can my guests order online?

     Make sure your guests select your party when ordering so you get credit on your Host Rewards.

Q: When can I expect the party order items to be delivered?
A: Your items will be shipped within ten (10) business days from the date I place your party order or sooner.

Q: What else do I have to do?
A: Your only other obligation is to deliver your party orders to your guests. I will sort them and package them up before I bring them to you, and you’ll need to get them to your guests as soon as possible.

Examples for Earning the Incentive Trip

Listed below are several examples of ways you could possibly earn this year's Scentsy and Velata incentive trip. These are only examples. There are numerous other ways you can adjust your points. Use these examples as a starting point for setting your monthly goals.

If you are a certified consultant do everything above but promote to lead and then promote to star to earn 21,000

Welcome to our new Blog!

We are thrilled to announce our new group blog!

This will be a place for you to come for ideas, news, and upcoming events. We'll even be using this blog to recognize some of you in our group.

We will be looking for consultants to share a guest post with us from time to time. If you have an idea, a great story about your business, or a fun new way to do something, shoot me an email at allisondalke@gmail.com. Your post can be in the form of a short training video via youtube or a written article with pictures. And don't worry, you don't have to know anything about blogging to share with us. If you're interested in guest posting, email me at allisondalke@gmail.com with the title Group Blog Post Idea.

Also, look for this page to change over time. At the top you can see our pages listed. We currently have a page for our Book Club, Meet Your Superstar Directors, Upcoming Events, and Recognition. Be sure to check back as we make changes.

You'll also be able to search for any article or topic that you're interested in by using the "Search this Blog" box on the right hand side of the screen.

As we add articles and posts videos, we'll tag them with a label. Those labels are also listed on the right hand side of the screen. You can use those labels to search more specifically for things as the blog grows.

So there you have it! Our new group blog! We hope this is a great resource for you as you grow your Scentsy or Velata business.

Join our Travel Club!

Join our 2014 Travel Club

{Where we will work with you to earn one of the 2014-2015 Scentsy Family incentive trips!}

***Please note: If your director, star director, or superstar director created a travel club, please join that club. This club is for everyone, but please don't join 2 if you have the opportunity to. ***


August 1st was the first day of qualification for this year's incentive! You can earn a All- expense paid trip for a Caribbean Cruise or a FREE trip to Vegas! You can now see more information about the trips, including a break-down of points to qualify, on the Resources tab of your Workstation! Just type in Scentsy & Velata Incentive trip in search.

We are so excited about this year's incentive and we want you to earn it! Because we're so excited, we are doing something new this year.  Please watch this short video for more information:



If you're ready to work towards earning your trip...

1. Send your completed application (see below) to allisondalke@gmail.com by midnight on Aug. 10th.

2. Be watching for an acceptance email mid-month so you can join our Facebook group. Facebook will be main source of communication so you will need to be on there.

3. Also watch for more information about Ascent Academy so you can enroll in your program or the pre-program for your title.

Please initial each requirement indicating that you agree to the terms of the program:

If you fail to meet all the above requirements you may be dropped from the program. The end goal is to earn the Incentive trip and we hope you all do just that! We cannot wait for your journey to begin!!
